J-Live At Fresh Produce, Boston

If you're in Boston this weekend, the place to be is the Good Life Bar for the first Fresh Produce of the year, as well as the first since it won Best DJ Dance Night in the Boston Music Awards.

Now in its fifth year, Fresh Produce combines forces each month with DJs and producers from across the country. This Saturday the legendary J-Live has been invited in for a special party-rocking DJ set, along with siblings The Deck Brothers upstairs.

The music is a mixture of new and old hip hop, reggae and party jams, with plenty of turntablism-style scratching, beat juggling and near flawless mixing, held down by resident and founding DJs Tommee and Knife.
