My pick for Single of the Week is "What's the Word" by Schoolboy Q feat. Jay Rock and Ab-Soul. "What's the Word" is off of Schoolboy's latest mixtape, "Setbacks". If you are familiar with the recent rise in the LA rap scene, you would know that Top Dawg Ent (TDE) and its members Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul are at the forefront of this movement. The reason I chose this song is becuase it is a banger. True West Coast sound, blended with the new school of rap that is being created in Calfornia. Make sure you get Schoolboy Q's mixtape "Setbacks".
