Drinks with Barbara Kruger

This evening was the second installment of this season's White Flag Projects Drinks With Famous Artists series.  Basicaly you go to the gallery, get some free beers and/or wine, hang out with some art kids, and watch an interview with a famous contemporary or modern artist, or their art21 segment.  One of the reasons that Barabara Kruger is so important to know about is because that's where Supreme appropriated a giant portion of their aesthetic.  Namely their white on red box logo in Futura Bold Oblique; the same font and style that Barabara Kruger uses in her white on red overlayed captions that appear on black and white photographs.
